Semester One

This course focuses on applying basic mathematical concepts to the preparation and safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. It covers various aspects of the pharmacy field, including calculations related to the chemical and physical properties of drug substances and pharmaceutical ingredients, biological activities and drug absorption rates, prescriptions and medication orders, drug dosages, dosage regimens, patient adherence, and compliance with medication treatment plans, as well as other related areas in pharmaceutical science.
